Maggie
Now that I am a bonafide homeowner with a spacious backyard, I have indulged a long-held fantasy of getting a dog. On Wednesday I headed down to the local SPCA and found Maggie, a 1.5 year old Yellow Lab mix. She is completely adorable, affectionate, energetic, and most importantly, housetrained. Also, because she is a mix, she is smaller than a regular Lab, which suits me just fine.
The downside of all this doggie joy is that my cat, Puppy, is somewhat less than thrilled. Maggie keeps bounding over to her just for Puppy to hiss and swipe at her with her (clawless) paw. Maggie is puzzled by this and will whine a little, but doesn't give up. Puppy, on the other hand, is getting increasingly pissed off. So now Maggie has been hooked up with her own apartment in the garage over night and while I'm at work. Fortunately I live across the street from my job, so I go home and let her out for a run over lunch. I'm really hoping that these two will learn to co-exist or this could get interesting.

Hey there. It is Steve Sporre from "Following God's Will"... I am really REALLY not trying to spam ya but I thought I would let all of my blog friends know that my full length 11 song album is finally here!! I am really excited about it and want to thank all of you for your prayers. Get More info at my Blog... again I am sorry for the "Spam" but many of my Blogger friends asked me to tell them when it was completed!!
And PLEASE help me spread the word and the music!!
I have a dog (wolf shepard) and 4 cats. StarDust is getting up there in age but she puts up with the cats well. The cats, however, take it upon themselves to show her who's boss from time to time. I'm amazed she's never tried to hurt them really. Still, they will all sleep together in the middle of the day and Sphinx, my weirdo cat, nuzzles Star's fur a lot. I'm sure Puppy and Maggie will learn to peacefully co-exist soon.
